In Short – Besides a fleur de lis logo, this sleek lounge doesn't overplay its royalty theme with unwanted kitsch like thrones and chandeliers. In fact, the vibe is just the opposite with low-slung perimeter banquettes, leather ottomans and a central bar backlit in a gorgeous amber light that matches a rear lounge area. Scantilly clad servers and bartenders keep a watchful eye on the clientele, which skews older and more sophisticated. Culinary heavyweight Chef Andre Christopher (Japonais, Pops for Champagne) orchestrates compact, club-friendly nibbles such as sushi, small plates and…
POOR poor management
by kennykrunk
management steals from the draws, someone stole the computers, and best of all they don't pay the people that work here. If you end up at this place one night you should ask for a manager to bring out a employee that has yet to be paid, instead of paying your bill just pay the poor employee. other then the lack of money i think this could be a great place with the proper management team
- Pros: great food and drinks
- Cons: longevity
Terrible Management
by marcelsomfelean
The partner, Marcel Somfelean, has not paid his staff since the opening and this spot will fortunately no longer be open in the next few days. People who work hard for the money they earn should spend it with people who deserve earning it.
- Pros: plenty of parking
- Cons: no one goes there
Super-ritzy and delicious!
by Egglantine
One of the most beautifully decorated "clubs" (it's a lounge, really) I have ever seen (including television!). The service was impeccable. I tried the lamb and the shrimp, both of which were delicious and flawless. When you go (if you can afford it), get the "Cosmo Royale" - it is the best champagne cocktail in Chicago- hands down. If you need somwhere to get all gussied up to go to, this is the place; Bentleys out front, Chicago elite in the booths, a genius in the kitchen, and a God behind the bar. If you haven't already made this assessment, here's me telling you to GO and GO TONIGHT!
- Pros: Service, Food, People
