What People Are Saying About Little Brother's

In Short – The small but upbeat storefront almost gets lost at this busy DePaul area intersection--it would, at least, if not for the bright awning featuring a signature bubble-headed character. The menu works as more commercial Asian quickserves do--after a choice of protein, rice, sauce and salad, the chefs go to work. The difference is that, apart from the fresh salads, everything is made to order. The punchy combos lean Korean. Barbecue beef, for instance, gets a sticky, spiced sauce after a trip over a hot plate, and a cucumber salad is a spicy and sweet counterpart.

I always look forward to eating at Little Brothers. The food is simple but amazing. And everything is fresh and (depending on what you order) can be very healthy. The sauces are delicious and I recommend mixing them for variety! Very friendly service, and I hope that they stay in business for a long, long time. I wish there was one downtown so I could have it for lunch as well!
- Pros: Fresh ingredients, fast, friendly, delicious
- Cons: not open on Sundays
The Details on Little Brother's
Know Before You Go:
Because items are cooked to order, the food can take 10 to 15 minutes to come out. Not a problem when you consider the difference between this and mass-produced chain stuff.
Parking:
Fullerton can be nightmarish and Lincoln is perpetually clogged. If you must, your best bet is Halsted.
When to Go:
Lunch during the week is busy (with DePaul kids, mostly), so weekends and afternoon are a better bet.
