This cafe mimics its original Lakeview location with a walk-up window and cute cafe tables, although upholstered lounge chairs add a degree of coziness, especially when paired with the crackling (though faux) fireplace. Sugar-studded zucker, or Liege waffles, straight from the griddle, caramelized and tender, are the main draw. Purists eat them as quickly as the hot little numbers will allow and with nothing else, although a few toppings, like Nutella and cinnamon-sugar, are available. Gelato, sorbet, coffee and tea drinks fill out the tight menu.…
