I can't say enough about Aroma Spa! I have had chronic neck and back pain since a bad car accident in 2003. I've been to every specialist imaginable to no avail. The therapists at Aroma Spa work miracles! Their techniques are like no other spa/massage I have ever experienced (and I've had hundreds of massages in Chicago from the Trump, to Kiva, to the Peninsula, to Urban Oasis, to neighborhood spots like this one). I've been going to Aroma Spa weekly since April (2010) and have noticed a dramatic change in my posture and pain level. They really take the time to get to know you and your needs before they treat you. My massage has never been the same twice, as my needs change from week to week, you should ALWAYS tell your massage therapist how you're feeling and what you'd like them to (or not to) work on! That applies to ANY massage you get ANYWHERE! The massage therapists at Aroma are so professional, courteous, sweet, and considerate of the environment and respecting your privacy/modesty.

Tthis is not a luxury downtown Hotel Spa, but it has all the elements of a very nice and clean spa. And to boot-- the price matches! I was paying $150/hour for structural therapy at the spa at a spa downtown and it didn't come near the $70/hour massage I get at Aroma. If you're looking for a soft, relaxing, "barely-touch-me" massage, then this is likely not the place for you. However, if you want to get the best massage of your life that may be a little unconventional but leaves you feeling "high" with relaxation and relief... then call and make an appointment!

As to their other spa services, I have not had facials or waxing done here, but I'm sure they're as good as their massages!

Received a manicure/pedicure today and was very dissatisfied. They filed my nails, put on cuticle oil and then painted my nails ( fingers and toes ), no lotion, no scrub, no massage, I basically received a very expensive polish change and a file. I do NOT recommend this place for a manicure or pedicure.

This Spa is recommended. I have been using this spa every couple weeks since it first opened. The facility is clean, quiet and all of the people there are friendly and professional. I have seen all of the providers there at one time or another and I have always been completly satisfied. I recommend this spa without reservation. You will be happy that you gave them a try.

Recommended Aroma Theraphy. Aroma Spa is excellent, the facilities are very clean and well maintained. I now have been a client for 6 months. I did come in with back problems and muscle tightness. Cannot say enough about the quality of care received. My back problems are slowly but surely disappearing, so does the tightness of leg muscles. Kiki and her staff are very courteous and is interested in finding out what ails you and will work at it.

I do highly recommend Aroma Spa!

Excellent Massage. I have been here many times have always got a great massage and feel compelled to share my experiences on yelp. Street parking is easy to find, inside the facilities are very nice and always very clean and the massage rooms very relaxing and comfortable, you hear no noise from outside which I really like. The staff I have encountered on my visits have been very friendly, well trained and able to provide an excellent massage, just tell the owner what type of massage you want and all is taken care of. For all around customer care and standard of massage and service you wont find better in the city and with the coupon its also very good value for money which is important to me. Nice place, very consistent service, great massage, not to be missed, recommended, you wont be disappointed.

Great massage, great facilities. Great massage, great facilities. This was my first try and I was extremly pleased versus the massages I've gotten elsewhere (including chiropractor places). I highly recommend, especially Ki-Ki.

I highly recommend booking with Chisato.. Wow. I just came back from my first couples massage ever, and my first massage at Aroma Spa.

1.) CHEAP (and they provided a coupon from their website)

2.) FRIENDLY

3.) not so much ambiance

4.) who cares about ambiance when the massage therapists are AMAZINGLY SKILLED. I've had at least 8 different massage therapists since moving to Chicago, and maybe roughly 60 different massage therapists during the course of my life (I grew up with a mother who ran/owned a day spa). I was starting to think that no one in Chicago knew what "Deep tissue" meant. Best Chicago massage so far! My massage therapist, Chisato, was strong, deep yet HIGHLY INTUITIVE and also clearly KNOWLEDGEABLE about structural anatomy. She was direct, approachable, and checked in with me multiple times about pressure. Very professional.

I recommend Aroma and I highly recommend booking with Chisato.

I'll be back as soon as possible, and am likely to make it a habit.

Great deep tissue massage! Fabulous waxing !. I have been going to Aroma spa for over a year, and must say I swear by it.

The massage&facial are truly amazing.

I love the deep tissue massage, they are best massage therapist I have ever had the pleasure to work with.

The esthetician yufei She loves what she does and is constantly seeking for improvement. She is very knowledgeable about skins, and know all the latest skin care trends.

Yufei's waxing skills are top notch. She does my eyebrows meticulously to my preference. She also gives the BEST Brazilian bikini waxes. She is gentle, skillful, professional, and gives you great results.

I would HIGHLY recommend going to Aroma if you are looking for a excellent salon to get massage , facial, waxes.

First Choice for Couples massage in chicago !!. My wife and I used a couples massage coupon for $125 for one hour.

We really liked the professionalism and the ability to really do a good deep tissue massage. The room was quiet, they provided robes as well as a steam room, and provided bottled water in the end. The hours (open until 10 most nights) are also a plus. I had Kara and my wife had a therapist from Eastern Europe (whose name I forgot). Kara (sp?) did a great job on my upper back. Glad to have this place in the neighborhood.

They also have mens facial and brazilian waxing services in addition to other waxing services for women like bikini wax and other skin care. I would recommend this place to anyone in looking for massage in chicago or lincoln park and lakeview areas.
