Try it -- far better than competitors in this neighborhood -- I love it!. The Spread is great. I live right nearby and have been meaning to stop by for a year or more. My wife and I went tonight, and the food, service, and price were fantastic. My beer never got close to being empty before our waitress was around to ask if I wanted another. We had the mac and cheese appetizer, my wife had the chipotle chicken wrap, and I had the grilled chicken "banker" sandwich (ciabatta, arugula, buffalo sauce, and blue cheese), although my favorite part was probably the maple aioli that came with my sweet potato fries. All in all, great food, and we came out under $50 bucks, drinks included. Its nice to find a bar/restaurant in this neighborhood that has somewhat fancier food. The bonus is that it doesn't really cost any more than the boring competitors. It seems like the place has good specials during the week as well. I'll certainly be back. The bad news for my waistline is that I found out they deliver...

Amazing Buffalo Nacho Salad. I live down the street in Lincoln Park. I watched the NFL Playoffs there the last three weeks. It's pretty easy to find a place to sit so long as you get there early. I like the menu because the food on there is different than most of the other stuff in my neighborhood. The service is pretty standard around there and food doesn't take too long or too short to arrive. I do like the shuffle board table they have even though the wait sometimes gets long. I'm still not very good. They seem to have pretty good weekday specials when I stop in and I know Wednesday is a trivia night but I have yet to win. I would suggest this place to anyone who lives in the area. The food is way better and the crowd is a lot better than most of the other places I venture into in Lincoln Park.
