M for Michael, Milano and Magic!!. I am a very loyal person... I am a creature of habit... and I am very close with the hair on my head. It is VERY rare that I'll experiment with different stylists... so when I find a quality artist, my choice is to stick with them as long as possible. When I moved to Chicago from San Francisco, I left behind a wonderful stylist. I would still be seeing her today if she was still in SF (I am there every quarter), but alas, she moved to Los Angeles. Anyway, I found the perfect fit for me in Michael and Salon Milano! Not only is he a talented stylist, but he's a great person!! He listens to what I want, and he never pushes me into a cut, color, or product. Michael is the only stylist that has cut and/or highlighted my hair in almost a decade! I met him before he opened his shop... and I stayed with him even after I moved to NY. Yes, he's worth the flight into town... I'm serious, he's that good!! His salon is a relaxing spot to visit and his staff is easy-going and friendly. I highly recommend all that Salon Milano has to offer... and Michael, in my opinion, is simply magical!

AWESOME! Finally an ORIGINAL and CREATIVE hairdresser!. I've been bouncing around hair dressers in the city for about the past 3 years and finally found the one - Micheall @ Milano. Micheall did an INCREDIBLE job on my cut and color, he challenges himself and the result is AWESOME. Micheall made sure I was legitamately happy before I left.

I've received so many complements and the cut and color really stand out. He took the time to listen to me and tell me what would work and not work, and my favorite part was that he was honest! I cannot tell you how liberating it was to have a hairdresser tell me something would not work and why as opposed to saying ok and just doing whatever. He offered solid alternatives when things I wanted would not work well and really made it a point to get to know me and my likes/dislikes so he can provide a custom cut that complements my face and personality. Thanks Micheall!

Oh, and the furniture and equipment is new - progressive and welcoming. You will definitely feel comfortable there. They take a lot of pride in their business so you know you are in good hands.

BEST BLONDE highlights!!!. Mike (Mahir) gave me the most AMAZING blonde highlights! The highlights are 3-dimensional with pale blonde, caramel golden blonde, and light warm brown tones. The multi-colored effect is subtle and natural and looks awesome! Mike is an incredible stylist and very creative with haircuts and color. His work is unique and it's definitely hard to find someone with his talent in Chicago. Sheri does great eyebrows as well and does not go too thin which is hard to find. The salon environment is laid-back and very zen-like and you feel very relaxed while you are there!

TERRIBLE place.... NEVER go there!!! NEVER!!!!. Bad and dirty place, styling stations even worse, and washroom is the worst !

if I ever go back I will try to go to other stylist...

prices are very high (I guess these people don't watch the news about financial crisis), service is poor and the thing I hated the most is this "sliding price list" .... my friend went there (same hair length, same hair texture (straight).. I asked for the same set of services (cut and hi-lites) and I got about $30 higher quote?!

I mean how do you justify that...

The best hair cut I have ever had!!!!!. I love Milano Hair Design Studio!! I have been coming to Micheal for two years now. He always cuts my hair perfectly and always has great ideas of new styles that would look best for me. If you are new to the chicago land area or need to find a new stylist go Milano Hair Design Studio they have an awesome staff that will not dissappoint!

One Stop Shop Salon - LOVE IT!!!. I absolutely love Salon Milano! I use all the services they have to offer - cut/color, brow waxing, and lash extensions. MATT is the best for haircuts (men and women) and color. I used to go to him at his previous location and followed him to this salon b/c he is awesome. He is very fashion forward and always gives me the greatest hair styles and color...I refer him to all of my friends. If you want to get your eyebrows shaped you must see SHERRI. She is such a perfectionist and so precise you know you'll always leave there looking good! I went to see KATELYN for eyelash extensions and love love love them! I never had them done before and after she was done they looked amazing. Everyone that works at the salon is so friendly and always makes you feel welcome. If you're looking for a change or something new Salon Milano is the place to go.

Go see Matthew!. Matthew is new to the salon... I like this salon much better than his old one. I have been going to Matt for at least a year now. I LOVE his haircuts. When I decided to have my long hair cut short, my friend suggested that I go to see Matt. I was so excited about my new cut. I get tons of compliments on it. He did an awesome job. I'm hooked! I highly recommend Matt!

Schedule your appointment NOW!. Sheri is the best for brows! Micheal did an awesome job on my hair. He really knows what he's doing. My highlights turned out the perfect shade of blonde. They're not at all yellow or gold. The cut is great too. The layers are exactly how I like them and my hair feels much lighter. I will definitely be back to see Sheri and Micheal!

Best colorist in the city!. I have been going to Micheal for nearly 5 years; from his time downtown to his new shop. I have had more compliments on my color than with any other stylist. He even did my entire bridal party and I couldn't have been more happy. Nera (hope I spelled her name correctly) did a fantastic job on my makeup as well.

Its a very relaxed atmosphere and you really get to know Micheal and Kabir and everyone who works there well. Any you really can't beat getting a color, highlights, cut and style all in about 2 hours tops.

BEST HAIR STYLIST IN THE CITY-BAR NONE!. I LOVE MICHEAL..his brother and Sheri! Micheal is THE BEST STYLIST in Chicago hands down! I have worked in the industry forever and he knows his craft! A true artist! I let him do WHATEVER he wants to my hair!

Sheri re-vamped my eyebrows- worth every $ and more! Her makeup skills are a lilttle questionable seeing as I am a makeup artist so I'm pretty particular..lol.

Micheal's younger brother is so handsome..very nice eye candy and he is a gentlemen as well! I send all my friends there and I'm constantly raving about this awesome salon.
