Charles May is top notch!. Charles exemplifies every attribute you'd hope for in a stylist- talent, professionalism, dedication. That's coming from someone who's been seeing Charles for over ten years! He constantly seeks training to stay on top and ahead of the latest technologies, trends and techniques. For Charles, education is extremely important as is listening to his clients. I've trusted Charles completely with everything from cut, color, style and condition. Aside from his talent and professionalism, he's a wonderful person and delightful to spend time with as he listens to what you want. You'll never leave his chair disappointed!

Charles May is terrific..
I went to Charles for years and then lost track of him for nearly five years. I was so delighted when I found him again at Restoration Salon on Sheffield and Webster. He is an incredible hair stylist and colorist. He's particularly fabulous with thick, wavy hair, which I have. He knows just the right amount of layers to cut to make your hair easy to style and look great, even weeks after you see him.
You can't go wrong with a visit to Charles.

Charles May is Fabulous!. I recently moved to Chicago and after reading many reviews I decided to book an appointment with Charles May at Restoration Salon. I have traveled a lot and have been lucky to experience some of the best stylists in the world so naturally I was quite nervous moving to Chicago and starting over. Charles is fabulous! I scheduled a full highlight, color and cut and I have NEVER been happier. My hair looks amazing and Charles is extremely knowledgable! I have never loved my hair as I do now and I feel amazing to have found him!!

Charles May saved my hair!. Charles May - enough said. This man saved my hair and ME in more ways than one. I had been going to another hair dresser for quite some time and she RUINED my hair. Poorly cut, badly colored, and damaged to no end. Then....there was Charles! He spent hours on my hair and miraculously got it back to looking healthy and radiant on my very first visit! He is professional and extremely talented. He listens to you and delivers spectacular hair that you could only dream of having. I thought I would never have healthy hair until I met him. I have never gotten more compliments on my hair in my life and YOU SHOULD TOO! If you want to be the most beautiful you have ever been contact him today!

Charles May is the BEST!.
Run, do not walk, to Restoration Salon on Sheffield and Webster and experience the most talented hair stylist in Chicago. Charles May and I have known each other for over 17 years and he understands how important our hair is! Charles listens to what you want and helps you articulate the look you are trying to achieve. He is passionate and creative about hair and ALWAYS makes you feel like you are the most beautiful person on the earth.
I lost my focus and was steered away for a few years. When I left I felt like I was breaking up with a boyfriend. I have come back to my senses and we have been reunited. I had long layered hair that needed a change and Charles was the answer. I have missed him terribly and am so happy to be reunited with him again. I now have a snappy, sexy new do and love it.
He is truly a talented man and every woman should have the opportunity to sit in his chair!!

Charles May - Talented professional hairdresser!. Charles first did my hair for my wedding a little over 10 years ago and I have never looked back! He professional, shows his experience in the art of a good haircolor that compliments my features, skintone, stage in life, etc. He has always been trustworthy, keeps very current with trends, new products, new techniques and has razor-sharp focus. I have had the opportunity to go to other experienced, high-end hairdressers, but, I can tell you that Charles' passion and experience as well as customer focus shine through. You will very pleased with his services!!!

Restoration Salon.
I truly look forward to my scheduled appointments at Restoration Salon. When entering this posh, welcoming salon you are immediately taken care of. I truly enjoy my experience each time.
I adore my hair stylist Niccii. I can always trust her recommendations and have yet to be let down.
I am also impressed with the continuing education classes that the stylists participates in.
If you are looking for a salon this is a must!

Great Salon~ See Dave!. I've been going to Dave Fonseca for over 3 years and don't trust anyone else with my hair. He knows exactly what to do with my hair, what colors work and what don't, based on my mood and what's happening in my life- the hair reflects it! I've always felt gorgeous after a few hours in his chair. The salon is chic but unpretentious and the owner Tim Weber has a very friendly staff. I'd recommend anyone that isn't sure what they want, but is willing to trust a genius, to go see Dave!

Well Worth the Drive in From The 'Burbs.
I started going to Restoration as a graduate student, then as a newlywed, new mom, and now a suburban housewife (ack!). The truth is that I tried a couple of salons in the Western suburbs and after a couple of months came back to my senses and realized that the drive in to see Tim Weber is well worth the hassle of commuting. Tim is the ONLY stylist that can cut my straight, thick hair to perfection. I enjoy his enthusiasm for his work and his attention to detail. I would recommend his salon(s)--and have--to anyone west of the City looking for a stylist who reliably cuts hair, to your specifications as well as with contemporary finesse.
