The Scene
You can't miss finding Hyland Hills Ski Area--the hill is located five minutes from the Mall of America, just south of Interstate 494 and Highway 100 in Bloomington. Hyland's teaching staff is busy--more than 34,000 ski lessons are given here annually. It's the perfect place for beginners. Snowboarders are also welcome.
The Slopes
The ski area, owned and operated by the Hennepin Regional Park District, is nestled within the 1,000-acre Hyland Lake Park Reserve, which offers extensive winter recreational activities including lighted cross-country ski trails, snowshoe trails and a Nordic ski jumping complex.

When to GoNight skiing is available Sunday through Thursday until 9pm and Friday and Saturday until 10pm. Rates after 3pm are adults $25 and kids $22.
