Condescending, inappropriate, and unprofessional owner. I was a customer of this salon for one year until my stylist smartly left this salon. Once she left, I had made a color appointment with another stylist, who was supposed to look at my "card on file" and help bring me back blonde (my previous stylist had always done this with ease and perfection). When I left with my hair fried and literally breaking off, I was furious to pay $125. The new stylist who had colored my hair clearly ddid not know what she was doing. When I called the salon (and the owner returned my call 2 WEEKS later), she was sarcastic, condescending, and laughing. Her demeanor was completely unprofessional and I will NEVER go back into that salon again! So, if you are looking for an expensive salon where the results are horrendous and the owner is completely rude, then Everything's Relative in Oak Lawn is the place for you. I hope Joan, the owner, takes some professional development courses in the meantime...however, that seems highly unlikely.

fabulous salon nestled in Southwest Chicago area. Joan each Rowan has operated Everything's Relative for nearly 15 years. She started her stylist career with Vidal Sasson in the late 1970's, early 1980's. She learned from the best and has continued to exemplify the creative talents that epitomize a classic Vidal Sasson look.

Joan is not only a world-class stylist, she is one of the BEST colorists in the city. Joan is able to blend together the right mix to achieve a totally natural look, yes, what one would remark "only her hairdresser knows for sure". When time marches on, and eventually it does for all of us, we want to look natural and normal, not some brassy blonde, or shoe-polish brown. When the rest of you looks young, who wants to spoil the look by a hair color gone wrong.

I have been going to Joan for years, and when I lived away from Chicago, I woudl often plan holiday visits to coincide with a visit to her salon.

Joan Each Rowan, and the staff at Everything's Relative are simpy the BEST!
