What Our Expert Scouts Are Saying
We've all lamented the closing of our favorite restaurant. Tears, well-wishing and ultimately acceptance; our old friend is gone. Bur for fans of Gold Coast wine bar Cru, wishes really do come true - the restaurant has re-opened, returned to its former glory. After a stint as "Feast," owner Debbie Sharpe decided it was time to go back to her roots. Even the original decor has returned - the old french chandelier was kept in storage, "just in case." Now you can gossip over steak frites, cheese, charcuterie, and one hell of a lobster club until 2 a.m. 200 wines by the bottle will keep you going until your hot toddy nightcap (made with Ransom gin and orange clove syrup). Who says you can't go home again?

Debbie Sharpe did the right thing going
back to Cru from Feast. Wine selections are unique with detailed descriptions, food is fresh, fun and seasonal. Try the chilled corn soup, pea spread with mint and homemade bread, delicious cheeses, chopped salad with farmers market veggies.
