St. Pattys Day. Great place for St. Patty's Day if you are irish or just like to drink! Never been there other than that!

A Northside pub with authentically good vibes..
The Scene
A publike atmosphere results from a tasteful blend of tributes to the traditional and literary cultures of the Emerald Isle. Portraits of Irish writers adorn the walls, and you'll hear more than a few Irish accents. In the front room, there's a small stage, a fireplace and a classic wooden bar. In the back, another fireplace, pool table, booths and televisions.
The Draw
Where other pubs are kitschy, the Shamrock is comfortable--choice for hours of sipping and chatting, or St. Patrick's Day revelry. It features more than a dozen Irish and British ales on tap, but young bartenders are with-it enough to whip up chocolate martinis on demand. A satellite dish affords the pub European soccer and rugby matches.
