BEST SPA IN CHICAGO!. I never write reviews, but i decided that after my last visit to Essence that I just HAD to share my experience with the citysearch world.

I've gone twice since I discovered this place a few weeks ago and i am HOOKED. The first time i came in i was just looking for a place to get a good facial. I got the best facial and microdermabrasion of my life! Not only was the facial great, but the staff was so friendly and welcoming. I got a tour of the whole facility and it is absolutely gorgeous. This really is the perfect place to go and RELAX...

When I got there I was told that all of their guests were welcome to use the steam spa, showers and sauna. I thought I'd give it a try, so I was given a nice white fluffy robe to slip into after using the steam spa and sauna and then I relaxed in their back lounge, i think it's called the Oasis (I could be wrong)?? It is AMAZING back there with the special lighting, scented oils, and beautiful waterfall/fountain. Upon leaving, I felt super refreshed. I went in for a facial, but left feeling like I had been spoiled and pampered allll day! I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!

Gorgeous facility, great classes, awesome experience. I love this place! Very Balinese/ Moroccan inspired. The products are some of the best, such as Skinceuticals. The cafe has Intelligentsia coffee, my favorite. Surayah is the dance teacher there, learning from her is incomparable. I am there at least once a week. It will be my regular hang out.
