He didn't pressure sell me or anything; just asked a lot of questions about my exercise history and goals. Then he said he'd have a trainer call me. Erica is awesome! she's helped me lose the 30 pounds I gained having my two lovely babies. I'm back into my pre-pregnancy clothes! I love how Clint keeps in touch with his newsletter. I look forward to every issue, because there's always so much good information. When Erica was off on a vacation, Clint made it a point to fit me into his busy schedule, and we had some great sessions too. A couple other times, he set me up with other trainers, and they were all good too. I recently dropped in on one of Clint's "Boot Camp" sessions, and it was the most fun workout I ever had. I wish it fit into my schedule to go there all the time, but it normally overlaps with work ;( Anyway I give Clint and his crew my highest recommendation.
Tried the others, but these are the best. all i can say is that i have never felt so supported and that a trainer cared as much as clint and erica have. since the beginning, i knew they were different. i had trainers at ballys before and all they did was put me through the same workout they put everyone else through, the same checklist machines going around a circuit. i can do that myself. this program was made especially for ME and they checked in between workouts too! none of my other trainers ever did that. when my appt was over they didn't think of me until 5 minutes before i showed up next time. clint and erica called, texted, sent emails, checked my food logs. having them make it so important challenged ME to make it so important too. they were giving me so much that i didn't want to disappoint them. so i tried harder than ever, and it worked. i have lost 37 pounds so far, and my size 6 fits good. i couldn't be happier. THANKS CLINT AND ERICA!
Lost Weight, Gained a Life!. I could sing praises about how my trainers helped me lose weight. That's awesome. But what surprised me more was how that weigh affected every area of my life. My job, my relationships, how I felt everyday, how other peole treated me. All I can say is try it. I know they will give your money back if you're not happy. I think, like me, you'll be deleriously happy!
Ladies, listen up.. I used to spend 30 minutes every morning, figuring out what I could wear (fit in to). I'm sure you all know what I mean. I did it for years. I hated shopping because I didn't want to buy even fatter clothes. I got serious and called Clint. He said we should start right away, while my motivation was high. I trained with Christy, and within three months, I had gone from stuffed into a 10/12, to being comfortable in a 6/8. I can wear all the cute clothes I haven't been able to fit in for years, and love that whenever I see a nice outfit, I can buy it and know it will fit.
Learn from the best!. My daughter always wanted to go horseback riding, so for her 13th birthday, I took her. The horse was doing all the work, so I shouldn't have been sore - but I felt like I'd just been beat up! I'm a physician, and always see out of shape people come in, and yes, I tell them to exercise and eat right. I needed to heal myself! I thought I knew the science, but knew I didn't know how to put it in practice, so I did some research into the top trainers in Evanston were. I started training; George told me that he'd start conservative, but I'd probably get a little sore anyway. Boy, did I! And - surprise - I found out that even the science I'd been taught in med school 12-16 years ago was faulty. Yes, my trainer was bringing in scientific articles to show me that what I'd been taught was wrong! I'm a big believer now. If you want to know what works, ask the people who are in the trenches every day. Now I keep up with my teenagers, and know I'll be their for the grandkids when they come too. Big time kudos!
Thank You!. I was wrong. My wife told me to look into personal training, but I refused. I knew I had a problem, but was going handle it myself. After months of seeing me start and stop, she took it into her own hands and called - had a trainer come to the house without telling me. I felt trapped, and was furious. She left me there with him, and I stormed into the kitchen. Trainer George was calm, gave me a moment, then said "Your wife must really care about your health. How about we just try a little bit. We'll do some boxing drills. It will be fun." In eight weeks, I am down 12 pounds, but LOOK like I've lost 25. And now I actually walk upstairs without dying by the top of the stairs like I used to. We celebrate each baby step and small victory. Thank you Melanie. I know without this, that I'd still be miserable.
a former fatty. i love to eat, no surprise my dr told me at 39 i had to lose weight or else. most of the trainers i called were high pressure, trying to get me to sign a contract. the lady on the phone didn't sell me at all, just took down my info and had a trainer call. they said if i didn't like it, it would be free. three months latr, i am back in my 36 jeans, and well on my way back to my goal of 34.
Try the bootcamp!. Their bootcamp is the best workout anywhere, ever! It was like going back to recess. They made it fun, just playing games with ropes, big tires, sledgehammers, sandbags, and more. Reading that, ow to me it looks scary, but it wasn't. They always had easy versions of every exercise for beginners, and crazy hard ones if you wanted that, but it was always at your own pace. Just plain Fun!
Had to get a new passport!. OK, how is this for an endorsement? I was visiting my family back in Amsterdam, after losing almost 80 pounds. Everyone told me I looked great, but because I still had about 30 more pounds to lose, I still felt fat. THEN, when I was coming back, the security guards at the airport told me I couldn't board, because after looking at my passport photo, they said "That's not you." I had to show them all my other IDs, and finally they agreed to let me go, but I could tell they were still skeptical, and they said "You need to get a new passport," because I had lost so much weight that they couldn't recognize me. I am so happy with my results! My trainers have been there with me through all the ups and downs, have tweaked my diet left and right, and after being fat all my life, I can finally feel good about my body. Thank You!
The Best Personal Trainers in Chicago. If you are lucky enough to train with Clint, you are in for a treat. I've told my friend he is "the nicest torturer ever." I mean that in the best way possible. Simply put, he is a master at getting more out of you than you could ever do on your own, safely, and while having a great time! After a few months, Clint suggested I try another of his trainers. I didn't want to do it, but he was going out of town and "Didn't want me to miss my workouts." He assured me that if i wasn't happy with the "substitute," I wouldn't have to pay for the sessions. I tried a few sessions with Carlie (who was amazing!), the a few with Camille, just to mix it up. Clint was right! They are both great. I love how they collaborate on my program, and work seamlessly together.
