Geography is cast aside at this Italian/Asian fusion spot..
Never in your wildest gastronomic dreams imagined an intersection between Italian and Asian cuisine? You're not alone. But that's not stopping the subdued lobby restaurant inside the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza, where miso soup and meatballs sit side-by-side on the all-day menu. Purists, take heart: Most dishes stick to one cuisine or the other, with just a restrained dash of bi-continental flair. Take the beef carpaccio with arugula salad, parmesan cheese, capers and soy wasabi vinaigrette--or don't. If you can't shake the feeling that there's something wrong about veal osso buco with edamame, there are plenty of exclusively Italian or Asian options to choose from, including miso-glazed salmon and margherita pizza.
