Non-profit boutique stocks fair-trade and eco-friendly gifts. Eclectic and colorful jewelry, housewares, clothing, beauty products, accessories and kids items line every inch of this Ukrainian Village shop, whose aim is to help make the world a greener and more just place. In addition to ubiquitous items such as Sigg water bottles from Switzerland, Greenheart also stocks more out-there products, like paper made from elephant dung and fashion-forward clutches from Brazil that repurpose pull tabs from soda cans. Local designers and artisans, such as Chicago-based Sweet Beginnings' all-natural honey, get shelf space as well.
