The Whole Foods store that's a destination location. This Whole Foods is the only one I'd come to for shopping as well as hanging out and eating and people watching. The entrance from the 2nd floor parking garage coming down a huge escalator, overlooking the entire store, is pretty neat. It's the epitome of American excess, but if you are in the right frame of mind it's very fun. They have all these mini restaurants that will cook you different food. I like the deli place that cooks burgers with quality Whole Foods beef. You can eat on the 2nd level and watch all the shoppers.
Organic market with six restaurants and a riverside cafe.. The 75,000-square-foot Whole Foods in Lincoln Park shines a spotlight on the best Chicago-produced eats. In addition to the usual staples of organic-focused groceries and health and beauty products, the first floor offers six food-court eateries, as well as a wine and cheese bar, a coffee and beer bar and a well-stocked gelateria. Diverse feasting options abound, from Homer's ice cream malts and chili-cheese dogs to build-your-own-pasta bowls. An upper pavilion and riverwalk outdoor terrace provides ample seating, while the second and third floors house 400 parking spaces for shoppers. Free Wi-Fi and a large wooden community table near the entrance are additional perks.
