Dive bar with a backroom stage provides refuge for locals.. Everybody needs a place to go where the bartender knows your name, there's no cover and not a TV in sight. In Logan Square, this is it. In the evenings, a no-frills crowd leisurely sips $2 PBR and $5 microbrew drafts up and down the long wooden bar, looking content to do nothing more all night. Local bands perform on the back stage Friday and Saturday nights, and fresh talent takes a stab at stardom at Wednesday's open mic night. Décor is random and scrappy--red vinyl chairs, brown tables that have seen better days--and perfect for kicking back.
