Cold brews, Italian eats and South Side pride near The Cell.. On any given night, a crowd of good ol' Chicago boys lines the bar, talking baseball or politics and taking shots. There's not much else on the block, and the majority of the clientele lives in the neighborhood, giving it a genuine local watering hole feel that's hard to come by. Two separate rooms with ample space and a large outdoor patio make this a good choice for the post-Sox crowd, and the multiple flatscreens on the black brick walls are solace for those who didn’t score tickets. When hunger strikes, the straightforward menu of Italian grub including pizza, pasta, sandwiches and burgers--topping out at $10--do the trick. Tap and bottled beer keep patrons hydrated.
