Neighborhood bar serves burgers and beer in Humboldt Park.. This laid-back bar on Humboldt Park's Paseo Boricua is a life-saver for the appreciative neighborhood crowd, who were accustomed to having to hike several blocks east into Wicker Park to find nightlife. There's nothing fancy going on here, just an after-work spot filled with a mix of Puerto Rican neighbors and 20-something artsy types. There are only two flatscreens, which means it's not a game-day destination, but that seems to make sense with the lounge-y interior. The menu, in keeping with the unpretentious vibe, features bar staples like chicken wings, 10-ounce burgers named for neighborhood streets and loaded nachos.
