Would Never Go There Again. I typically go to a salon downtown that is very expensive but does great work. I choose to go to Salon Coop because of its convenience and cheaper cost. I should have gone to my normal person. The owner of the salon was the one doing my hair and was the most unprofessional and unskilled hair dresser I ever met. For some reason she felt free to speak derogatorily about people of different races/ religions to me! I wanted to walk right out of there but I really needed a cut. I was so nervous watching her cut my hair, it looked as if she was just guessing. She had straightened my hair but it smelled so bad that I had to wash it as soon as I got home. That’s when I noticed how terribly uneven she cut my hair. I had to go to my regular person to have everything evened out. I would not recommend anyone go to this salon unless you see someone other than the owner.

Coop's The Best. Salon Coop is chic, comfortable, and positive. I went in to speak to Ms. Lena about an advertising booklet. A few days later we ran into each other and a couple days after that i was sitting in her styling chair. Not only did she deep condition, trim, and style my hair, she did it for a discounted price because she recognized that I was student. She is an awesome hair stylist and positive force of energy. The shop is spacious, classy, and warming and anyone who visits will definitely not be disappointed!
