Downtown Chicago isn't the only host area in Chicagoland for traveling executives--in fact, many huge corporations operate in the Western 'burbs. That's where this stylish stay comes in. Replacing a Holiday Inn, the 119-room hotel makes lodging in the hinterlands look sexy. Guests wiggle their toes on plush zigzag carpet, lounge on low-slung cornflower sofas and freshen up in bathrooms with curved granite countertops and orchids. The space is environmentally kosher, too. The hotel sports a guest recycling program, low-emissivity windows to minimize energy loss and an onsite restaurant dishing up farm-to-table meals.
