Will Not Return!. am not a person that takes the time to comment on any establishment, good or bad. However, I have been so continuously disappointed with Galt Baby (all three locations) that I cannot refrain from providing a review. My first experience was at the Clybourne location, where although my husband and I were looking at strollers and car seats for our twins due next month for over 25 minutes, not one sales' associate asked if we needed assistance or even said hello. A couple weeks later we tried the downtown location. This time a young man was polite and offered assistance but continued to tell us that certain strollers and car seats worked together that we knew (because of research) did not. We asked him to check, he stated that he did, and still came back with misinformation. Fast forward several more weeks, we were in the area and decided to stop by the Old Orchard location. We stood in the same spot waiting for service for again 20 minutes until we finally grabbed someone and asked why we were not being serviced. Ironically, another customer was in there demanding to speak with the owner because his order was not in the store although he was instructed it would be and needed it for a birthday party that day. Shame on my husband and I for remaining there that day, but after one associate asked us 'what our problem was' and another apologized for her rude coworker we spent quite a bit of money on a twin stroller and two car seats. Weeks later we were told that we could come in on Sunday, pick up the stroller, and have the car seats installed. When we went on Sunday, another associate said this was misinformation, they do not install on Sundays, and were too busy that day anyway. Nor did they help this pregnant woman with twins load her car. My husband and I picked up everything while they honestly stood back and made dirty looks. It was at that time they informed us that the bumper bars did not come with the stroller, but they would get them and have us come pick them up. After not hearing anything for two weeks, we called them. No progess. Two weeks later, we called again. We were informed that they would be shipped in the next 7 to 10 business days. No customer service. No follow up calls to keep the customer updated. No apologies. Honestely, I have not received service this bad in a long time, and it was quite disappointing. After we get those bumper bars, if we ever get those bumber bars, we will not be visiting Galt Baby ever again.
