Citysearch Editorial Review. The second outpost of this Colombian spot, named for the region one of the owners hails from, doles out the same meat-heavy grub, gargantuan portions and nice prices that made its North Center sib a dining destination. Colombian ditties and the smoky scent of charbroiled chicken and beef fill the casual dining room, which is decorated with indoor roofing and elaborate murals to give the illusion of an outdoor Colombian café (or a Vegas shopping center, thanks to the faux sky painted on the ceiling). And those portions we mentioned? Dishes like garlicky, bone-in char veal – served with pudding-like fried plantains, a corn pancake and cassava, ideal for sopping up the juices – are so substantial that they’re presented on wooden cutting boards; plates simply can’t handle these feasts.
