An easygoing, casually clad staff slings approachable grub to locals, who are giddy to have a nearby haunt that serves more than bar fare. Chefs utilize local ingredients to concoct American dishes such as the Maryland-style crab cake, a Kobe beef burger that’s punched up with caramelized onion and spicy aioli, and short ribs in a subtle beer braise. As for dessert, the house-made butter popcorn ice cream tastes no less intriguing than it sounds.
