Location! Service! The hotel is not
new, but comfortable and value priced. It is very near four of the finest museums in the world, and also near to Navy Pier. Of special merit were the free-service van drivers - Ann, who drove us with great skill for four days, and John - who were very knowledgeable and accommodating. They got us there! The restaurant was an added bonus. We stayed six nights and will probably do it again.

Had a good stay at Ramada Inn during
out visit to Chicago. John Brown, our driver, was very nice and made us feel right at home. Thanks John!

Good value for money in Chicago area.
Pleasant walk to Hyde Park, Science Museum, University. Friendly multicultural staff. The food in the hotel cafe is not trendy, but perfectly fine, and the bar is a very happening place, full of local color.

The hotel is just 10 minutes (by cab)
away from McCormick Conference Center which makes it very attractive to everyone planning to attend a conference on a low budget.

I was visiting on business and we
stayed there because they have a shuttle. The shuttle driver John Brown assisted us numerous times during our stay. He made an extra effort to make sure everyone was comfortable and got to their destinations on time. I greatly appreciate having access to the shuttle during the conference.

The staff was very courteous and the
rooms were great. It was nice to be close to the University of Chicago. The room was not as dry as some hotels.

I had the opportunity to stay at the
Ramada in Chicago on St. Pats weekend, I had a food festival I was attending to help my friend with her Pine-Nut business, so this was a working weekend. The staff of this Inn were outstanding in every-way, but there was one individual that twinkled like the brightest diamond during my stay. His name is John, he is the Inn's van driver. He went out of his way to meet us on our schedule. During our drive he told fascinating stories about the history of Chicago, this being my first trip to this wonderful city, along with my other two companions, we were held captive by his vivid descriptions, and swept away. I being a writer by trade just know there is a story here somewhere, and I suggest you seek out this comfortable Inn, and then take a ride with this fine gentleman named John, you too will be captivated as he will not only take you to your physical destination but also fill your mind with fanciful imagery.

I have stayed at this property three
times. Each has been very pleasant, esp. because of the staff. Everyone smiles and is friendly and helpful. My first trip was with my dogs and it is a great place for dogs. There is ample green area and a short walk down to 55th St gets you to the lake. On my other two trips I have stayed in the main hotel. The rooms are comfortable if not lavish. They are clean. Beds are perfect for me. Location is ideal as it is the only regular hotel within walking distance of UofC. But the people make the place.

The hotel is right infront of Michigan
lake and offers a very good view. The location is ideal for travelers as it offers free parking and easy to locate. They also have free shuttle to downtown at scheduled intervals and so connectivity is to downtown is good. The train station is also 5 blocks away and you can easily walk to 43rd street station from the hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The lounge is not very attractive but overall facilities are good at the price they offer. The internet connectivity was good in rooms and it was free so I enjoyed it.
