Great car service ... THAT YOU CAN TRUST!. You know, garages are a dime a dozen. the problem I run into most of the time is that they're trying to upsell you on tons of stuff you don't need, then they leave out obvious things you don't!

Autobahn is actually the opposite. I've had four or five service trips there, and each one is the same: VERY honest assessment of what's going on, good and quick repair of just what I needed, and a rational plan for evaluating anything else that might be lurking under the hood. I get the sense that the recommendations Autobahn makes are the ones they'd give their own children if they were working on family cars.

Highly recommend ... if ya can't tell already!

1999 Porsche Boxster Window/Latch Problems. Met John for first time a few days ago. I've always been a fan of having a small shop work on my car. I have always had good experience in past with most smaller shops.

Repairs were done as promised and John took the proper steps to diagnose the problem before replacing parts.

Anyhow, great guy to work with and rates were fair. Thanks again John.

Great service, good work and fair pricing. The best thing I can say about this shop is that I will bring my car back for any needed work. In fact I did bring my car back and he went out of his way to repair it on short notice. He replaced my timing belt for a fair price in the amount of time he said he would do it. This guy is cusotmer focused.

Great Auto Service as well as Customer Service. We bought a 1995 BMW 325I in bad shape; since proximity is important to us we found a BMW shops close by and took our car there, we were charged a huge amount of money and still had most of the same problems, my husband stumbled across Autobahn in St Charles and we have no reason to go anywhere else. He fixed all of the problems that we were having and charged us half of what the other high end shop was charging. John (the owner) even picked me up at home to pick up the BMW because I didn't have a ride. He even has evening hours what a bonus!! We give him an A+

Great Service on My 2008 Mercedes E350 4matic. The only thing I don't like about my Mercedes E350 is the dealer cost to service the vehicle. I stumbled on Autobahn Automotive Service while surfing the web and decided to get my car serviced here based on all the positive reviews. John's overall price to service this vehicle was substantially less than the dealer and he used all Mercedes parts. He even has evening hours if you are working late. This place is definitely a shining star among German repair shops. Looking forward to my next visit.

Rare find, this guy walks the walk and talks the talk. I recently purchased a 2005 Audi Cabriolet 1.8T from a party in Naples,. Florida. The car has low mileage and was well taken car of. After doing some research I found AutoBahn on the net and checked it out and boy am I glad I did. I wanted to have my car checked out and serviced since I was brining the car into a northern climate. I met John at his shop one evening during the week, he inspected the car, laid out a plan to change the oil and fix a cooling leak on the backside of the engine. Within 3 days went completely over the car, fixed the leak and won me over as a client.

What a great mechanic!. Our Porsche completely died in a parking lot at the beginning of Labor Day weekend. In going through the internet, we could not find anyone open or who would answer the phone until I called Autobahn Automotive. John found we needed a new alternator and fixed it during the holiday weekend! What a guy...what a mechanic!!

Concierge Mechanic!!!. Had a major problem, an axle shaft, John personally came to my home at 7:30pm picked up my car, repaired it and had it back in my driveway late that night so I could drive to work the next morning.

How many mechanics work like that!

I had estimates that were 100's of dollars apart. John's price was very fair and reasonable.

Professional quick service for our vintage 450 SL. We had our vintage Mercedes services last week. We had several items to have repaired like our windows, rear sway bar,shifter bushings and oil change. They gave us a quote and worked our list and ended up doing it for less that they quoted. They picked my husband up and brought him to the shop to settle our bill on the weekend at a time convient to us. We will be back!

Great Service. I'm approaching my 60.000 mile check up. Normally I would of taken my vehicle to my dealer but I heard of John's auto service through a neighbor and thought I'd try him. He listened to my concerns as I'm approaching 60.000 miles and taking my family on a road trip this summer. He completed the necessary work , in a super reasonable time and assured me my trip would be safe. His rate was much more affordable and fair then the dealers projected rate. I now have more to spend on the trip!
