Can you really go wrong with warm and creamy clam chowder served in a jar? Add to that a lobster roll, oyster po'boy sliders and crab cakes, and you've had the best of this always-packed River North restaurant. And the non-East Coast-y suprise hit? Eggplant with hoisin sauce, cashews and Thai basil. Delish.

Housemade hot sauces and mignonettes nicely complement East and West coast oysters. Also try: tomato-laced mussels and clam chowder.

Oysters are just the beginning of the flavor at the GT Fish and Oyster Bar. Known as one of the best seafood shacks in town, it's food is casual and delicious. Valentine's Day is a special treat and starts off with oysters and champagne followed by a 5-course tasting menu. Very good!

Thank u Guiseppe Tentori 4 opening the best fish&oyster house in Chi. Always fresh (& half price after 10) this seafood shack is the bomb.
