The Peasantry, a new chalkboard-laden restaurant, in Lincoln Park, is boldly ushering in the gyro revolution. While you sit under the watchful eye of a giant octopus painted on the wall, savor a baby octopus and chorizo gyro, topped with the unlikely (but wonderful) combination of grape and potato. If your interests are more earthbound, order the chicken and corn pancake gyros instead. Another option to consider: a burger - Peasantry boasts high-end options made with lamb, duck and bone marrow.
