Hobson Valley Animal Clinic

Nice people, competent vets, great experience!. Being fairly new to IL, I needed to find a vet for my two cats who were in need of vaccinations. After reading so many positive reviews about Hobson Valley Animal Clinic just blocks from me, I made an appointment to take one of them in. I was very impressed with the way in which they treated my difficult and angry hissing cat. When the tech said she needed to get his weight, I cringed. But without hesitation, she simply scooped him up in her arms and carried him down the hall to the scale. I could hear other ladies in the office laugh and tease her, saying, "I don't think you’re his best friend!" It felt good to realize they wouldn't be afraid to touch him like his last vet had been. When he fell ill, I had to take him to the office two more times. Between the three visits, I have met two of the veterinarians. Dr Heigel and Dr Lage are knowledgeable, competent and very friendly. I have confidence in both of them. They take the time to answer your questions and explain everything you need to know. I haven't met Dr Husar, but after reading the reviews, I wouldn't hesitate to take an appointment with him either. I find their prices to be very reasonable, which really helps a person on a limited income. In my opinion, you shouldn't hesitate to bring your pet(s) to Hobson Valley Animal Clinic.
