Delicious Food and Lovely Staff!. This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review of a restaurant. I am so happy to have discovered Rockin' Taco! I have rehearsals in the area immediately following work and there are very few quick bite options in the area for a vegetarian. In the last month I've been to Rockin' Taco about five times and I don't think I will ever tire of the tofu tacos or the fajita-style veggie tacos OR the delicious black beans and amazingly flavorful rice. The food is enough to keep me coming back but what really make Rockin' Taco special is the terrifically friendly staff. On my second or third visit my boyfriend and I were getting up to leave and stopped because we were mesmerized by the Daft Punk video that one of the staff had put on the screen in the restaurant...we stopped and watched the whole thing and had to tear ourselves away as the next one was starting. The next time I came in, the staff member remembered me and started the video for me from where it had left off! This place is a gem! Don't change a thing!

Fabulous Flavorful Mexican Food. Their big sign still says Urban Cafe, but there's a chalkboard out front and a neon sign in the window that says Rockin' Taco. Cool atmosphere: instuments and rock posters on the wall. But by far the best thing is the food. The rice alone is INCREDIBLE! That's right, the rice. How can rice be that good?! The tacos are simple, traditional tacos that really let you taste how good the fillings are. I was dying - really flavorful, tender steak and chipotle garlic chicken...oooo, al pastor. It's so obvious that everything is made fresh. Everything was ridiculously good. There was someone else eating a GIGANTIC burrito that I assume was the Baby Huey which has all the fillings. If I go there with a couple friends, I think I'll try that next time. I don't know how they keep the prices so low. I had the 3 taco dinner, with 3 tacos, beans, and rice for $6.75. Oh, don't forget the horchata!
