A gem in Chicago!. The Palomar Chicago is an fabulous hotel! Each time I stay there, I am blown away by the attentiveness of the staff the hotel's commitment to creating a memorable guest experience. I highly recommend the King Spa Suite. Floor to ceiling windows, a well designed sitting area, and a deep spa tub make this a must. Stop by the wine tasting in the lobby, and order one of the fresh sorbets at the Sable. I am still thinking about the apricot and mint combination. There can be a line at the elevators during peak times so allow a few extra minutes. I will be staying there again in June and will post an update.

Citysearch Editorial Review. This hot downtown hotel boasts an all-too convenient location right in the middle of the city action. Its in-house restaurant, Sable Kitchen and Bar, is always bustling with an after-work dinner crowd and is a great spot to stop for a cocktail after a long day of shopping or sightseeing. It also doesn't hurt that Hotel Palomar has amenities such as a heated indoor pool, evening wine hour for guests and a giant sundeck. Oh, and did we mention it's right across the street from Nordstrom? That could be trouble.
