Was in tears for days. I hired Planet Earth Painting to paint my entire condo on a recommendation from a friend. The crew that was sent didn't speak english, they scratched my custom kitchen cabinet and tried to cover it up (which PEP never replaced), they broke a chinese amulet I had hanging from a doorway (which cannot be replaced), they went through the drawers in my bedroom, and they left paint droplets all over my wood floors. I was scrubbing it for days until my hands were raw. Not only was this the service I received, Joel took advantage of my not knowing what the going rate for painters was and grossly overcharged me. He charged me $4000 for a 800 sqft condo. I understand it's my responsibility to understand rates but he clearly took advantage of me while I graciously extended trust because he came recommended by a mutual friend.
