Friendly staff. Convenient location. I've been to the Doctors Immediate Care location on Roosevelt Rd 3 times now, always in and out in under an hour, got the care I needed, and my insurance was billed correctly. They will do a follow up call to make sure you are alright and check up on your health. Great health and they offer good timings which are very convenient.
STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR HELTH AND MONEY. I went there with my 3 year old son for a bad case of allergy. They had me wait for 3 hours like many other people to see a doctor. No matter if you have an appointment you will wait at least 2 hours. Some of the patients left before seeing the doctor they were so fed up. I should have done the same but I wanted to give them a chance. The place is filthy with smell of mold everywhere. The doctors that work there have no experience in dealing with children or any experience in that matter. After waiting for over 3 hours I was finally taken in, nurse got the vitals and then we waited another 25 minutes for the doctor. Doctor look at my son and after looking at a website on which he selected the symptoms he stated that it is allergy. This was unbelievable he went to a website and it told him what it was. Like I said no experience. After about 15 minutes with the doctor we left with a prescription for antibiotic and a request for follow-up. We came back few days later and same thing, waiting time of 2:35 minutes with an appointment. This time I had enough I went to the people behaving the counter and I asked why we are waiting we had an appointment. They said, they take fist come first serve. So why the …. do you do appointments I taught. The follow up visit lasted 10 minutes without the doctor touching my son or anything. She said the result of culture taken was negative and he will need to take Benadryl to help the symptoms. What a joke. She could have told me that over the phone. But wait that is not all I just got the bills from my insurance. The first visit which lasted 15 minutes and we got antibiotics for they billed $1060 and the follow up they billed $506. I called the insurance and they told me that they are billing incorrectly so I called them and they said we always bill like that but the insurance don’t always pay it all, but don’t worry about it you will not be charged. Well I wasn’t charged for the first visit. But I was for the 2nd they sent me a bill for $300 that insurance didn’t cover and that I will need to pay and for what, for follow-up that lasted 10 minutes. I am never going back there again and I am taking this to Better Business Bureau and Office of the Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan and whoever wants to listen. I have been in my life to many doctors and facilities like that but this one is the worst.
I was here at this place recently with my son after he had his fingers in the door. Staff was very nice and place looked like a regular doctor office. The receptionist was efficient and the doctor was in the exam room in about 10 minutes. I would go there again if the need be.
This place used to be worth it. When they first opened, care was quick and efficient. Now, I do understand they've gotten busier, but then you need to add more staff and more doctors. The last few times I've been there I've waited over and hour and over two hours, respectively, to see the doctor. This last time was for my son and I had gone to their website to make an appointment. We still waited over two hours to see the doctor. They have little to no air conditioning, so it was very hot in the exam rooms. Then my son was given a strep test. The rapid came back negative, but they sent one out to the lab to be processed, and he was given antibiotics as a precaution. I am a medical assistant, so I know throat cultures only take 2 days to come back, and that is what the doctor told me. I called two days later and was told by someone it takes 3 to 5 days. So I waited. Finally after 6 days I called and they still had no result. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he was busy. I called back a few minutes later. He was very unconcerned with my issue. He said he would have one of the girls call the lab and they would call me back. I waited over an hour and called them and they STILL didn't have the results. About 20 minutes after that, they called back with the results and the test was negative. So at this point, my son was needlessly on antibiotics for 6 days because for whatever reason, they didn't get the test results back. I was lied to on several different occasions and management didn't seem to care. I will never be going back and I will never refer to this clinic again. In fact, I will do everything I can to tell people about how horrible they are.
I was very pleased with the way I was treated.. When I injured myself one day at work I was going to go to my own primary, but I looked up google and decided I will go to Doctors Immediate Care in Lombard which promised I will be able to get in faster. Going to the emergency room (ER) can cost a lot of time and money, but here it is not expensive. I was very pleased with the way I was treated. Everyone was very friendly, from the receptionist who checked me in to the nurse and doctor who treated me.
Your Wife Always Knows Best. My wife convinced me to get a physical exam after I?d gone several years without visiting a physician. This is when I first discovered Lombard Immediate Care facility and their wonderful staff. Lucky for me, I followed my wife?s advice, because it was then I discovered I was suffering from hypertension. My doctor was quick to find the problem, and worked with me to get my health back where it needs to be.
Great Service For A Fair Price. Thank you Lombard immediate care clinic! I recently had quite a scare with problems with my diabetes, and it was after my regular doctor’s office was closed. I’ve been to the ER before for diabetes issues, but the expense was so high with little payoff. So I chose this clinic instead, and I’m sure glad I did!
Good Alternative to ER. I made the right choice when I came here instead of the ER. It was a bit of a drive, but Lombard came highly recommended by a friend. I had burned myself on the stove, but didn’t feel it was so severe that I needed any kind of serious hospital services. So Lombard was the perfect place to go to get fast, effective treatment.
Late Hours Keep Me From Missing Work. I use Lombard immediate care’s services not only because the nurses and the physician are wonderful, but also because their office hours are so convenient! I’ve never had a doctor before who stayed open past 5pm. I don’t have to skip work or drag my kids out of school for half a day just to go to the doctor anymore.
Great location, friendly staff. The Lombard immediate care facility is so convenient. It’s great to have this place nearby, since it is open late--if you have any sort of health issue after regular workday hours, it’s easy to stop in and be seen. I just had to do this last week when my son couldn’t find his inhaler and we needed a replacement right away, just in case.
