Absolutely The Worst School in Chicago.
The previous writer is on all points! Financial Aid is unknowledgeable. Instructors are the worst I have seen. I am an A student and each sememter is a struggle to communicate with the instructors on an adult level. They need to understand continuing adult students are likely to be over 35 with a lot of work experience.
The instructors are full of themselves and often lack tact when it comes to student/instructor communication skills. They don't even attend RUC and are often out of state! Go figure!
The are money hungry and they seem to coerce students into obtaining degrees in areas that are not a good match for them.
I plan to transfer after this semester or change my major quickly and get the heck out of dodge!
Worst School in Chicago.
Unfortunately Roosevelt University is money hungry. Most staff are rude. The Financial Aid Department is very unknowledgeable.
Academically, the staff are usually doing thier teaching as a side job and don't take classes seriously. The work is simple, I did not learn much.
Overall, I would not recommend this "school" to anyone!!
Good School. I give this university really good reviews. I started taking college credit classes here when I was in elementary school and the experience was kind of overwhelming. It has quite a big campus especially to be in Downtown Chicago. The staff is really helpful and are interested in students' learning. The professors are some of the best that the education field can offer.
