Less that satisfactory Chinese Restaurant on Belmont. The one thing that tells all about a Chinese restaurant is the Hot and Sour Soup. This told me immediately that it is a average to poor place. The other food like egg rolls are less than average. I ordered two and could not finish 1. They are reasonably new but I would pass on them until maybe a year from Jan 09. Save yourself and just pass it until they can cook better.

It made me ill. Upon discovering China Kitchen had closed, my boyfriend and I decided to order from New Jeanny's for his birthday dinner. The order taking process was smooth and efficient, and delivery was in less than 30 minutes. But then the propblems began.

The delivery guy forgot a pen for me to sign my charge slip with, and I had to run back up 3 flights of stairs to get one. We had ordered 2 orders of different eggrolls which on the menu said there were 2/order, making our oder for 4 egg rolls. We only got one of each, and only 2 packets of hot mustard while duck sauce, which we don't use, was in abundance.

I asked that my garlic chicken be made spicy, and the girl taking my order said no problem, but it had no spice. Both the chichen and Kung Bao beef were lacking in flavor. Just because it was hot did not mean it was good. This morning I got sick at work from the food. We won't order from them again.

OK for takeout. I used to love this restaurant before it changed ownership, but these days I usually skip it in favor of other neighborhood places. The ambience in New Jeanny's has improved greatly since the change of hands, but that's about it. In my opinion, the food is on the bland side. Not my favorite.

Yum Yum Dim Sum. Excellent food, Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoon are great! Spicy dishes are perfectly spiced, not too much-not too little. We've only ordered in, fast delivery and food is steaming hot every time! Highly recommend

i dont think this place its worth the try. I order some food for delivery. After over ah hr, the driver arrives with the food cold, greasy and disgusting....I asked if he can redeliver some decent food for me and the manager (a jerk) was too busy arguing wiht some other customer on the phone, put me on hold for 5 mins and then did not even offer anything to ease my frustration. The food is cheaper than most other reputable place in the neighborhood but I really don't think a 2 bucks saving is worth the agonny.

Sheer green curtains decorate large front windows that overlook bustling Belmont and let in lots of natural light during the day. By night, they provide a prime perch for watching the action outside. The large menu of Chinese specialties features several vegetarian, poultry, beef , seafood and noodle dishes with a variety of sauces. Appetizers include plump egg rolls, crab rangoon and steamed dumplings. Entree options include mu shu pork, Szechuan chicken, beef satay and lo mein.

Great, basic Chinese food. We live near Jeanny's and while we've eaten there once in the dining room, we use it quite often for takeout. The eggrolls are big and delicious, and I love the spicy Shanghai noodles and the Schezwan chicken. Yummy crab rangoon too.

A Chicago favorite!. I LOVE Jeanny's. It's rarely busy, and the service is fast and good. The food is excellent, and you get a TON of food for the money-especially if you go at lunch. I'd highly recommend Jeanny's to anyone looking for some excellent Chinese food.

Great potsitckers. Although everything here is good, I particularly like the pot stickers. What makes them so great is the sauce. Another great thing about this place is it's location. You can easily jump on the El afterwards or hit a few of the bars in the area.
