City Provisions makes anyone who ever said you can’t be everything to everyone look like a serious underachiever. It's a local food haven, a butcher's dream and a craft beer buyer's mecca. Now it’s also a restaurant, which it has morphed into with the aplomb of a valedictorian quarterback. On Friday and Saturday nights, Chef Cleetus Friedman will be serving a prix fixe dinner filled with seasonal goodies. You are guaranteed to be completely stuffed by his pan-roasted chicken with green garlic and asparagus, potato gratin and strawberry-rhubarb pound cake. Call ahead for reservations since seating is limited to 16 per night.
