ELM SAVES US DURING FAMILY REUNION, This January I had lots of family over for a family reunion that weekend and my old furnace decided to give out. Called a bunch of companies, they were the only would who could get out right away. Since it was an old furnace we decided to replace it, they were able to install it the same day. Then when spring came this year we decided to purchase an energy efficient ac unit from them to help save money on utility bill and protect the enviroment. Engineer Ron was very professional and helpful through the whole process. I would definitely reccomend contacting them for anything you need in regard to your furnace or air conditioner.
We were very happy with the service we received. We called with a problem with our heating system and a service man by the name of Mike came out the very same day. We were impressed with how quickly he diagnosed the problem and would highly recommend Elm to anyone!
I called Elm on one of the Very hot days and I was VERY Happy with the service i received. The customer service person was very friendly the tech was very polite as well. Within a couple of hours my air was up and running. I would recommend Elm to my friends.
This summer, Bob from Elm Heating was the technician who came out and checked out our ac. He did a very thorough job of cleaning and checking our ac, thermostat, humidifier and electronic air filter. He explained about Maintenance program that you pay one fee and they come back and check your furnace. We were very pleased at how knowledgeable, professional and complete Elm Heating’s service was and we would recommend them for anyone who wants to keep their furnace and air conditioner running in top shape. I will be calling them again this fall to set up my furnace tune up.
I had an emergency this summer. It got pretty hot in Chicago. I turned on my air, only to my surprise, I did not have any. Instead I had a funny smell throughout my home. The first technician available was an Elm Heating . They came out right away and had my air working in no time at all. I am very satisfied.
Nothing but great things to say about these guys. We were able to schedule an appointment quickly and a tech by the name of Mike showed up better than on time - he showed up early (and even called first to let us know he was on his way)! He was incredibly polite and made a point to explain exactly what was wrong with our furnace and what he needed to do to fix it. He was professional, honest, and straightforward and was had the part we needed and install it the same day. Really exceptional work. Definitely call Elm if you need this type of service.

My air conditioner broke down in the middle of the drought recently. A friend told me to call Elm. A repair guy came out and tinkered around for a few minutes and it was fixed. It wasn't a serious problem and they didn't gouge me on the bill. Thanks for your honesty guys!
This year my husband and I finally decided to replace our old boiler. The old unit was giving us trouble for years, and my husband was tired of fixing it. Was speaking with one of my girlfriends, she mentioned to me that she has purchased heating and ac systems from Elm Heating over the past 30 years. Gave them a call, they came out right away, sales person Ron was very professional and helpful when it came to choosing the right system for my Chicago Bungalow. Price was very fair, and they helped us get the additional tax credits we qualified for. Installation crew was very clean and professional, and got along well with my dog :). Would definitely use them again in future.
Service sucked. After a 10 minute visit the guy didn't want any part of it but still charged me the service call fee. His name was Bob. Didn't even attempt to diagnose the problem because my guess, was too lazy to get in the crawl space of the house. Bluntly told me he didn't want to get in there at this time. I'm guessing I was his last client. All because he was going by what I told him from what the previous HVAC had said. Don't bother with these people. Should've read the reviews before I called them.
