What Our Expert Scouts Are Saying
Imagine your funky Aunt's awesome basement. Take away the musty smell, any hint of dirt and any knick-knacks that aren't awesome. Add a fish tank. Oh, and some world-class food. That pretty much describes Found, Evanston's new hot dining destination. Chef Nicole Pederson has decamped from River North (she used to be Executive Chef at C-House) and headed north. Her menu is eclectic, focused on local and sustainable foods, and altogether awesome. Feast on fried oyster tacos, house-made charcuterie, a full line of craft cocktails and wood-roasted beef steaks from Slagel Farms. Just make sure to get there early, because the waits are long and the space is so cute you will want to linger.

Chef Nicole Pederson has
single-handedly taken Evanston's dining scene to a new level. Everything is good, but I particularly loved lamb meatballs and fried oyster tacos.

Lamb meatballs are incredible and will
soon have a cult following. Service, cocktails, and atmosphere are all top notch. Just what the North shore needed!
