What Our Expert Scouts Are Saying
While you may have thought a family-style meal involved yelling over one another about your divergent political philosophies, it actually refers to large plates of food for sharing. Give "family-style" a chance at Gather. You won't be disappointed by the heaping plates and communal tables. Chef Ken Carter did his time in the kitchen at Charlie Trotter's and now turns out modern american dishes with a high-quality edge. Steak tartare is served with tiny slices of house made brioche. The delectable roast chicken is served with an unlikely-but-perfect garlic-miso sauce. These little touches make a reasonably-priced dinner at Gather seem like a high-end treat anywhere else. So Gather up some of your friends and head on in tonight.

My new favorite neighborhood
restaurant. Don't skip the tartare or the apple fritter.

Casual, comfortable, friendly place..
Casual, comfortable, friendly place. Loved the homemade ricotta with local honey and toasts. The crispy, thin flatbreads were winners and one if the better burgers I've had in the city! Would go back just for the fun wine selections on the menu.
