The Scene
Located in the historic Medinah Temple, meandering here is a bit of an ethereal experience--particularly on the top floor where dramatic stained glass windows set a modern-meets-historic tone. Throughout the spiraling space snooty urbanites spree shop, while tourists "ooh" and "ahh" over four floors of upper crust end tables, elaborate kitchen gadgets and baubles aplenty. Its sophisticated and surprisingly approachable staff has been trained to meet most every whim--with a smile all the while.

The Goods
The lower level features high-thread-count sheets, while the main floor caters to foodies with a penchant for kitchen chic. Upstairs levels accommodate to the newly wed and those in need of beds. While nothing here--from the sofas to the soft, fluffy towels--is cutting edge, high construction and traditional, sometimes pubby-country clubby, detailing ooze the taste of those with multiple homes.
