Sandwiched between the Cadillac Palace Theatre and the Hotel Allegro, Encore does a brisk before- and after-show business, with theatergoers coming in for a specialty drink, a snack and a cigar. Colors are dark and warm. Ornate hanging lamps shade the booths, and funky, high-stemmed lamps ring the circular lower-level bar. Budget options include beef tenderloin sandwiches, roast turkey, baked ham and barbecued brisket served on focaccia, olive bread, nine-grain and onion ciabatta.

This is my new favorite spot!

Forget those trendy, pretentious bars/lounges. For all of you that are tired of 'the scene' like I am this is the place for you! This is my new favorite spot! It is a very relaxed atmosphere, people always look like they are having fun every time Im there. It was surprisingly upscale while not taking itself too seriously. We had some appetizers that were also surprisingly great for bar food. Martinis are wonderful, a variety of tastes for every palate. Bottom line This is my new favorite spot!

ENCORE; the place to be

Beautiful space with beautiful people, after years of putting up with small, tacky, overpriced, and overglorified lounges So well decorated...it takes you back to a time when clubs were hot, sexy and decadent. The food,drinks, & service are great. A touch that starts your night out on a good note. The staff is actually friendly, too. The diverse crowd, I love it. Great place to meet people. The music goes perfectly with conversation, drinking, & relaxing.their Martini's are awesome, what more can you ask for?

I stayed at the hotel Allegro which is connected to encore. It is a great place to go after a hard day of shopping & sightseeing. Very convenient location. I reccomend the "Indian summer", very good!

Encore is just a great place to grab a martini after work. Cool decor, good food, nice-looking crowd.

Colossal Lunches

My client and I attended Lunch last week at Encore for the first time. We were greeted by a very friendly staff. Despite the large crowd we were seated and served promptly. The sandwiches were great. Although I do recommend their combos. They also have a Lunch Club, which is Free. Out of a lot of lunch spots here in the Loop, I have to said this is one of the best. Kudos :)
