Boats galore

Belmont Harbor is next to the Dog Beach. Watching the boats and admiring the various styles and sizes is easy to do while I play with my dog. All boats are obviously pulled out of the water for winter, but in the summertime, this harbor really fills up. With that said, it doesn't seem crowded.
- Pros: dog beach, boats, park space
- Cons: LSD traffic

One of the best

This place is ideal for dogs in the summer. This reasonably sized, closed off area on the beach is ideal. Dogs have direct access to the water and plenty of sand to roll in. They and you are guaranteed to enjoy yourselves.
