It is expensive but few places have had such a nice Sunday 'brunch' and I was amazed and pleased at my dinner visits of the rarities they have on their wine and beer (and tea) lists. Chimay is the best foreign beer I have ever had and they had it when I was there, but you might need to be carried home as it is strong. Food excellently prepared and waitstaff a bit formal but still nice. Take the 'recommended' dishes by your Server--they are the most unusual. Gals go early if you want to avoid "suits" hitting on you, unless you want that sort of thing. The food is pretty great.

Pros: food quality and originality & alcohol choices are large variety

Cons: Very Expensive

I note my date of visit since the place seems to have gone down since based on other reviews. Well we know Hyatt is certainly proud of it since the hotel and restaurant are plastered as the placeholder for any representative photographs of the Park Hyatt brand. My displeasure with this last aside, this is a good restaurant with good food and a decent ambiance. My wife had breakfast there while staying in the hotel and also had a light dinner on the patio. The food was excellent, that magnificent wine display (I am remiss to call it a cellar) has some creative selections in it (even in Champagnes) which was to my liking, to boot at a reasonable price. This did not translate into the food department though where breakfast of some bread and jams for two ran me $60. It was certainly well presented and tasty, but at least let me get my day started and get me drunk before breaking the $40 mark.

Pros: Wine List, View, Food Quality and Presentation

Cons: Pricing of certain items

I admit, I was a bit nervous going here, as it was for our first anniversary dinner and I just hoped I'd picked the right place. I told them about the occasion ahead of time, and to increase our chance of getting a window table we'd made reservations for early in the evening ...But I must say, in no way was I prepared for how wonderfully they treated us. We got (in my opinion) the best table (the view is incredible), and were handed menus with Happy 1st Anniversary! printed right on them - which they told us we could take home if we wanted - and our dessert also had Congratulations! written in icing. The waiter was very attentive, and the bottle of wine they recommended was fabulous and always poured the second one of us ran low. The sushi we ordered practically melted in our mouths and was DELICIOUS, and the steak I ordered was great (though I could do without the liver in the topping - which they DID warn me about and ask if I'd prefer it without - I should've remembered I really just don't like liver). It was pricey, yes, but we were prepared for that. All in all, the service was amazing, and the food was delicioius. I would definitely go back here.

Sandro where are you. Santa Barbarba I hear. Please come back. This place is a sink hole without your scallops and touch. Avoid this place like the plague. Disorganized service. Wine service is poor to non-existent. Food is okay but not what one would expect. I predict this place is going to loose some stars in the next go around.

We went there 2/11/07 at Noon for Sunday Brunch and it was beyond disappointing- I can't even find the words to explain. Much of the food lacked flavor (salt and pepper would have helped), service was terrible- we waited 15-20 minutes to get someone to refill our water and coffee (both completely out). During that time, there were servers, bussers, managers walking around in their suits that completely passed over us and most of the people in our section. We finally called someone over and asked that we get refills- of course they looked at me like, "well it' not my job to pour bevereges but I guess". Not only that, when we got up to get more food, we came back a few minutes later to a table that still had our dirty plates on it. We had to push the plates out of the way and after a few more minutes, someone finally cleared them. There was plenty of staff available to do the job right. The servers we busy half the time chatting with each other in the corner. There was no fruit (a basic for any brunch), pastries were hard and dry, the potato soup tasted like water, the cheese board looked like a pack of wolves got into it and they never replenished- I can go on. For $55 per person and at a place with such exposure, I expected MUCH more than a standard menu and presentation. It is so disappointing and frankly a waste of money- I feel like I have been robbed out of $130- there is no value in that place. If the view is what you are finding value in, there are plenty of other restaurants in the city with great views. This place should be ashamed of themselves charging what they do for mediocre food and poor service. I could have received better service at Ihop. I am so angry about the whole thing that I feel like contacting the management there and demanding a refund- I am not a complainer either so when I complain, you know there is a problem. We will never go back. I am just glad we went there for brunch and didn't drop $500 for dinner.

Pros: NONE

Cons: Everything- service, food quality, presentation

My husband and I must have been to a different restaurant as some of the other reviewers because our experience at NoMi was probably one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. We were very excited to go there as we had heard great things about it. Instead, we were greeted with attitude and indifference, waited in the bar for a ridiculous amount of time (even though we had reservations) only to then be ignored by the bartender once we were able to get close enough to the bar to order a drink. It only got worse from there. The service was abhorrent. If we were at a burger joint, I might expect to have to repeatedly “ask” for our waiter, but not at a restaurant that charges $21 for a cup of soup. We weren’t even sure who our waiter was. When he did decide to grace us with his presence, we felt like we were bothering him with our questions. He barely explained the menu or specials and never once asked us how everything was. The sommelier was goofy and highly unprofessional and again, we weren’t even sure who she was. We just thought she might be the hostess opening our wine for us. The only service person we were pleased with was the busboy and that’s because he was the only one we saw on a regular basis. The food was average at best. You can definitely get better sushi around town and my fish entree were dry and unappealing. Do not waste your time on this wannabe place!!

Pros: none

Cons: terrible attitude, terrible service, way to pricey for the quality of food

This restaurant , while pricey, offers a wonderful environment for a quiet dinner or group get together. the view of the water tower and lake are magnificant. The sushi is outstanding and service is awesome as well. dont want the whole dinner, grab a bite in the bar, and people watch!

Pros: Great view, location

Cons: little pricey

I would not recommend the scallop tart (quite bland and of odd texture, even for scallops), but everything else was fantastic, including the service.

It is surprising to find frozen fish and stale bread at a restaurant with such high prices. For $84 for two, I would have expected the turbot to be fresh not frozen. The fish was a bit tough and would not fool anyone who loves fresh fish. I also asked if they could bring me some fresh bread as the one served was also tough and chewy. They said they baked their bread in the morning. Yet again, even though the bread is served warm they try to pass off something old for something freshly baked. Very disappointed and deceiving. I should have gone to Spiaggia where the dorade royale is truly fresh and delicious for a similar amount of money

Pros: nice views of water tower

Cons: service very slow
