User Reviews for Lincoln Park

Lincoln Park is a great place to visit and a step out of the norm from Michigan Avenue. I must agree though with the other ratings. It is just too crowded in the summer.

Pros: Beautiful place to visit always something to do.

Cons: Too crowded.

Having such a beautiful park and zoo in the middle of a huge city is great. Gorgeous plants and gardens. Awesome city and lake views. The best zoo. Lots to see. Good place to picnic or just kick back and people watch. Open every day of the year. Even Xmas. (Nice to walk off a Xmas dinner and visit the animals. They're always more lively in the winter.)

Pros: inexpensive, open all year

Cons: not dog friendly

This huge park with its long bike/walking path and lake views is one of the best things about Chicago. It's like a huge backyard for thousands of city dwellers, attracting people year round for fresh air, exercise and family outings. Plant yourself on a bench in the summertime, and you've got a perfect spot for people-watching.

Pros: People-watching, Long walking trail

Cons: Crowded in summer
