I Love going to O Hagans, I love everything about this place, the inside of the bar is great. The staff are always friendly & helpfull if you are undecided on what you would like. I would highly reccommended it to anyone.
Cute bartenders for the girls, and some nice looking chicks for the men. A lot of the staff are Irish, always nice to hear a Irish accent:)
If you have ever been to Ireland, and would love to go back GO HERE
- Pros: Parking lot, with no charge
REAL IRISH FOOD and a Dublin Pub
by tully36 at Citysearch
BEST IRISH FOOD AND PUB. A well kept secret in Chicago and wrigley-vill. Does not promote itself as Real IRISH PUB AND FOOD, because it can. It has great service from the other side, great food (Irish style) Pub room is good But eating room is best.
- Pros: food, service, pub
- Cons: location, close to wrigley bars
Irish pub in Lakeview that's warmer than many and rowdier than most--in a good way.

The Scene
It feels like St. Paddy's Day year-round at this lively public house, roaring with music, sports and shenanigans. The story of the Claddagh (a ring symbolizing lasting love and eternal friendship) is written on the wall, and an old-fashioned hearth fireplace warms the back room. Built-in bookshelves display Irish antiques--copper kettles, musical instruments, earthen jugs, Baleek and Waterford.
The Draw
Small mahogany and teak tables (pushed together for large groups) sit close to the ground and are typically covered with pints of dark Irish stout--Guinness, Murphy's, Caffrey's and Harp, all on tap. Besides the imported handcrafted bar, the food menu is the most authentic part of O'Hagan's. For dinner, try traditional Gaelic favorites: Killybeg's fish and chips, shepherd's pie, and can't-miss Dublin bangers and mash; Irish breakfast is always available. Classic rock's piped in during the week, but live Irish music abounds Thursday though Sunday. An HDTV broadcasts rugby matches and more.
