Ani Afshar's jewelry are a unique creation of taste and value. As I entered her store I was amazed by the fluidity and the originality of each of the pieces, but looking more closely I found it even more refined in it's complexity. All together I found the work of Ani Afshar EXQUISITE!
Lovely, elegant jewellery

I have purchased several pieces from this designer over the years & I'm still in love with each piece. The jewellery is playful & elegant at once. When one of my necklaces became loose after years of wear, the shop happily fixed it for me, despite the passage of time, indicating the designer has a real sense of pride in her work. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for cool gifts.

Ani is one of the most creative designers I have met.
She uses the highest quality materials and interesting color combinations to create timeless pieces.
Her store is a delightful, friendly place especially when she is there.
Her books are great guides for those of us amateur jewelry makers. Her classes are pricless.
You are missing something if you have not been there.

- Pros: Unique items, all lovingly made
- Cons: no bargain hunting here
BEST JEWELRY IN CHICAGO
by JLP85 at Citysearch
I love the store Ani Afshar. This jewelry is truly one of a kind - UNIQUE! I am a native of Lincoln Park and there has nver been a jewelry boutique quite like Ani Afshar. The people there, especially the owner Ani, is always so helpful with everything. I own many pices of jewlery here - can not get enough. I could not believe the poor review written before me! It sounds so distasteful and does not sound like the Ani Afshar I know. I will always shop here because I know that every piece of jewelry I buy will never been seen on anyone else but me!
Terrible customer service!

I hate to say it but Ihad an awful experience here. My boyfriend spent more than he could afford on a necklace which broke probably the first time I wore it so I took it in to get it fixed. They looked at me like I was an inconvience and made me feel very uncomfortable. They took it back and said they would call me when it was fixed. A month passed and after several unreturned messages I went in and once again the attitude and snooty girl actually rolled her eyes. I eventually got it back and it Yes it broke again. It is in my bathroom and I dont know if I have the energy to go thru it all again! I begged my boyfriend not to get me anything from here ever again as they don't deserve the businness! So dissapointed.
This jewelry designer creates elegant pieces with silver and semiprecious stones.

The Scene
Shiny stones appear to wink at you from inside this small jewelry store, discreetly located just off the avenue of swanky boutiques on Armitage Avenue. Inside, unique and interesting displays are startlingly simple yet cast a bright grow. A row of colorful necklaces is set dramatically against a white wall, and hanging lights spotlight dishes of jewelry.
The Goods
Owner and designer Ani Afshar sells her jewelry in more than 500 stores worldwide. Her lines include necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings and pins made of semiprecious stones and glass set in vermeil and sterling silver. Stones such as amethyst, garnet, pearl and topaz are used in matching sets or individual pieces--either is perfect when you're looking to dress up a simple outfit or going out for a special occasion. Prices are reasonable, ranging from $20 to about $250.
