When we were buying our first home, we came to WGS. They offered a good rate, and we started the application process. At some point, we decided to shop around for better rates, and found a large bank that offered us quarter point lower. We switched a terrible mistake: it took the bank forever to process, we had to coordinate every step with lawyer, agent, etc., and 3 weeks before the deadline, they told us they just realized our townhouse was incorporated as condo, and they can't lend us amount they preapproved. The entire purchase was in jeopardy. WGS saved us, and at the end offered an even better deal! Never again would we repeat this mistake.
Pros: honest, professional, knowledgeable
Cons: hard to find 1st time
