Great Dermatologist

I can't say that I don't agree with you regarding Dr. Fretzin. I myself have recently switched to Dr. Rosen in their Buffalo Grove location because of the attitude I have gotten from Dr. Fretzin in the past. I do really like this practice mostly because of the nursing staff. They are always very friendly and always have time to talk me thru any concerns I have. Dr. Rosen (A female Dr.) has always made time to answer all questions that I have as well...even though I almost always have to wait about 45mins.(That's expected at a Dr. office). I also found that the front desk can be very rude and lazy and don't like to give out samples. (THEY ARE FREE!! GIVE THEM OUT!!) And it wouldn't kill them to smile once in a while. Other than that I think this is a wonderful practice and I am happy with Dr. Rosen and the nursing staff.
- Pros: Nursing staff, Dr. Rosen
- Cons: front desk, Dr. Fretzin, no samples
Good dermatologist

I have been going to Glazer for 6 years and see Dr Fretzin. I have never had to wait longer than 10 minutes to get in and I am always very happy with the care that I receive. The staff is fantastic and they go out of their way to help me or share information. I have moved out of town but I still make the drive to see Dr F. rather than switch doctors.
- Pros: Friendly, efficient, caring staff
- Cons: none
very good and thorough dermatologist

I have been going to Glazer Dermatology to see Dr. Keith Kozeny, for a few years. I go at least once a year for a check up since my father had melanoma. I have found the appointment scheduling, wait time, courtesy of the front desk personnel and doctor's care to be consistently very good. Procedures are performed on-the-spot in the office and lab test results are available soon! Dr. Kozeny is very professional and competent.
Miserable first experiance with this office.

Desk was prompt, waited in a patient room for 45 minutes and was seen for literally 3 minutes. I felt the way I was talked to by Dr. F was uncalled for, he insulted my intelligence and discount my family history of malignant melanomas. Out of all the dermatologists I have ever seen, he was by far the most insulting and unprofessional.
- Cons: bedside manner, wait time, poor exam
Agree with other review

I agree with the other review. This is a very similar experience that my family has had in the past several years that we have gone to these doctors. They didn't even have the courtesy to look at my daughter's skin when I had her in last. Just prescribed a medication for acne. I am searching for a new dermatologist.
Avoid this dermatologist...

Two things:
My family has been going to this dermatologist for years. We quit for 2 reasons:
1) A 2 minute appointment - you wait for 45 minutes - 1 hour to get in and this has happened multiple times. When I kindly mentioned this to our Doctor (Fretzin)- he said and I quote - "you will wait 2 hours down the street.
2) Very cocky attitudes
3) Just called to make an appointment. 4:40 p.m. in the afternoon 7-21-08. They answered (not a service) and said. Our offices are closed can you call back tomorrow to make an appointment. Yeah Right! She couldn't even take time to make an appointment. Shame on them.
They've permanently lost my business and my kids..... And I'm telling people my experience. No excuse these days with so much "Dr." competition.....
- Pros: none
- Cons: see comment
