Beatlefest. Maybe I just have a sentimental connection with the Hyatt, (Beatlefest) but I think it's a great hotel for business or for fun, if you are there for conventions at the center next door. My friends and I have never had a problem with the rooms or the service. They have always been helpful and friendly. Granted, I have never ventured far because of the convention I was at so I am not familiar with the neighborhood, except for Maria's Mexican restaurant and seeing a concert off-site one year, but I think it's a reasonable place to stay. Although, NOT close to downtown Chicago and their lobby bar REALLY needs at DJ on the weekends...

A convenient location for those on the go--or those just trying to get away.. The Scene
This modern, glass-encased hotel is connected by a skywalk to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center at the O'Hare International Airport. It's just 15 minutes by subway or expressway to downtown. Its reasonable rates and meeting rooms that include the second-largest ballroom in Chicago make it a good destination for conferences.

The Details
Rooms are equipped with work stations that have data ports and two-line telephones. Upgraded Business Plan rooms are available. A renovated fitness center contains free weights, rowers, a sauna and more. The swimming pool is indoors, while outdoor recreation include a sundeck and jogging trails. The 18-hole White Pines golf course is 10 minutes away.

Wedding from hell. Lets just say DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING THERE. The service is bad (they dropped the plates with food 4 times throughout the night in which 2 times they spilled it on some guests), the staff will still the food from under your nose if you not looking because they want you out of there ASAP. Only alcohol you will get its at the bar and we had arrangements with the hotel manager that we are allowed to bring the alcohol with us which we did and then they said it was miscommunication problem and we cant use it. Parking was not reserved for the guests. Just plain disaster.
