Beautiful shoes, great sales--but definitely a designer shoe store by Elizabeth R. at InsiderPages

Shirise is a really wonderful shoe store. The selection is almost all designer shoes (although they do have some Cole Haan, Uggs, etc) but they have a really interesting variety and some beautiful things you probably won't find anywhere else. Most of the shoes are really expensive, but a couple times a year they have sales where everything gets discounted 50% or more--which is when I swoop in and pick up the pair of boots I've been coveting all season. Even so, the salespeople are unfailingly nice and approachable and always remember me. They will also do things like stretch out your shoes if they're pinching in a certain place. If you need a pair of shoes for a special occasion, or to treat yourself, Shirise is definitely the place to go.
Well-heeled Northshore women walk in style with Italian and French designer shoes.

In Short
Women's designer shoes are definitely the focal point at Shirise--which is good, because the store itself has been around the block since it opened in 1985. Up-to-the-minute Hollywood-ready styles contrast with chipped paint and wood and stained carpet. Despite the shabby decor, the store has won an award from the Italian Trade Commission (an organization that promotes Italian imports) for best boutique in America.
